What is This?

Sign Spotter Calgary independent project to collect data on sign locations and types during an election period.

We will use the data to provide strategic advice to progressive candidates who are looking to make Calgary a better place. We are not affiliated with any individual candidate, party, or third party advertiser.

If you would like to contribute, simply take a walk around your neighbourhood and help identify signs with a few simple steps:

  1. Enable location services on the map by pressing the crosshair button in the top corner (optional).
  2. Find the dot on the map that represents the correct address for the sign. The chosen address will appear below the map.
  3. Choose the correct sign colour and click Send It!
  4. Repeat for the next sign you see. Don't worry about doubling up or submitting the same information more than once!
